In case you didn’t know, Luke is from Kansas. Yup, that flat place in the middle of America where Bob Dole, Toto, and the Jayhawks all originate from. (If you don’t know what a Jayhawk is, well, it’s probably best not to ask . . . these people are serious about their basketball!) : )
Over the holidays we ventured to Lawrence, Kansas for some good ol’ Midwest time with Luke’s family – including our much adored first niece! It really is a beautiful place, with endless fields, classic downtown architecture, and gosh darn nice people! We’re definitely not in Kansas anymore, but here are some of our favorite moments from when we were.
