I will readily admit that I’m obsessed with my dog. I’ll also admit that Blossom and I’s relationship has changed a little since I birthed a child, but I still (as silly as it may sound) consider Blossom to be my first child. (I’m sure all of you dog lovers out there can back me up!) When I was 16, I persuaded my parents into getting me my dream dog, an australian shepherd. I had always admired the breed for their looks, yes, but primarily their supreme loyalty. I had always wanted the kind of dog that would follow me around, no leash required. Blossom is most certainly that dog. She has been through so much with me. 10 years of adventures, from high school, to college, to marriage, and now a baby, Blossom has been there with me through it all. She is so gentle with Linus, as I knew she would be. I’m so thankful to have her in my life, and our family certainly wouldn’t be the same without her!
Happy 10th birthday, Girl. Welcome to the double digits :)

Some of my first pictures of Blossom :)

Blossom was my photographic obsession for many, many years. I’m convinced shooting portraits of her is what taught me how to work a camera!

Randy’s fuzzy step child :)

Linus’ best friend!
If you even think about screen capturing our pictures, I will cut you. <3 She
