Craig & Jennie might just be one of the kindest pair of folks I’ve met. Get this: they’ve already sent us two thank you notes and we haven’t even shot their wedding yet! They have a unique story too. They both work at Trader Joe’s, and it’s where they met! Grocery stores, where love blooms :) Their dog, Lady, is a celebrity of sorts. You might recognize her from some of the Trader Joe’s dog food and treats. She’s a real sweet heart and actually reminded me a lot of Blossom (she’s part Aussie!) Take a look at some of our favorites from our afternoon “hike” in the Los Angeles hills with all three of these guys :)

Greg & Paige had a sweet and simple courthouse ceremony in Downtown San Diego. Surrounded by a dozen of their fun friends, some sparkly flats, and a surprise limo, it was certainly a joyous afternoon! Here are a few of our favorites from the day. : )

linus | 8 months | part 1

You may have noticed Linus’ absence from the blog lately. Well I’m about to remedy that, BIG TIME. Actually, BIG TIME X2, because I have so many pictures, I’ve divided this post into two days. Yup, we’re those crazy parents that take waaaaaaaay too many pictures of our little muffin and force everyone to look at them :) So I’ve got two months worth of obsessive photo taking of our little man to update you all with! Linus is growing so fast… mainly in the cheeks and belly. Yes, our son is a bit of a chunker, but these days he’s working hard to get that belly in motion! He’s just on the verge of crawling, but in the mean time, he has become quite the hand-eye coordinated little fella. In case you haven’t met him, we’ve pretty much deemed him the most mellow child on the planet. This kid is super chill (like his daddy.)

So prepare yourself: you’re about to be bombarded by Lee-noose… two days in a row.

This is one of the crazier experiences we’ve had. We met a lady who has a mini Australian Shepherd (yes, that thing is full grown), who’s markings are EXACTLY like Blossom’s. And get this: her name is Blossom. What?!?!

We spent New Year’s Eve in a hotel with my parents. PARTY ANIMALS.

Neal & Michelle’s wedding was one of our most unique weddings of the year – and for a couple of reasons. I’ve known Michelle since elementary school – Condit Condors, woot woot! :) Photographing the wedding day of someone you know is always extra special! And it isn’t every day that we get the chance to shoot a wedding in the rain, either. That’s a pretty unique circumstance for us Californians! Neal & Michelle handled the rain in stride, too. They were plenty game to stroll around during the heavy down poor to get some killer shots! But don’t take our word for it, take a look!

It was great seeing Becca, too, who I also went to school with!

Behind the scenes? Yeah, we still do these. No, I’m not pregnant again, though I can see how you might think so, looking at the pictures below. We’ve just been so busy shooting weddings and engagements, followed by blogging weddings and engagements, that we haven’t had time to blog much else! Except pictures of our son. There’s always time for that :)

This first set of pictures is from Taylor & Adele’s wedding, which we shot three days before our son’s arrival. Randy and I were CRACKING UP looking at these pictures. I had what you call the “basketball belly.” That thing totally looked fake. But my swollen, sore feet would have assured you of the reality of the situation!

A great majority of these pictures were shot by Mr. Josh Elliott, without whom I would have cried all day at Taylor & Adele’s wedding.

This next series of pictures is from my first wedding back on the job post Linus birthing.

I walked out of the reception and totally thought Randy was sitting in the parking lot staring at trees. What you can’t see is Milton & Carolyn standing behind the bushes :)

If I were the kind of artist who titled her artwork, I would entitle this series, “Sparkle Love Shine.” I know what you’re thinking, “That’s deep, Erin. Real deep.” And I don’t mean to get over-conceptual here, but I do feel like it fits the piece :) In truth, Bryon & Michelle compliment each other very well. Michelle – bubbly and sweet. Byron – quiet and kind. We really enjoyed spending a sunny, chilled-air afternoon with them in Orange County. Take a look!

Eren & Ahna will quickly become some of your favorite people, or at least they have for us. The first time we met them, they hopped off of a scooter and walked into a friend’s house full of smiles and laughter. Our encounters with them have been consistent since (minus the scooter). There is such a childlike fun and free-spirited way about them, not to mention their joy, which just so happens to be pretty darn contagious. They’re the kind of people you just want to be around!

We had a blast exploring East Village in Downtown San Diego with them. Take a look. : )

Made new friends with some giant bubble makers and couldn’t resist the fun!
