A few weeks ago, my cousin Abby came out to visit from Mississippi… and she brought her boyfriend with her, a California-virgin! The pressure was on to show Kyle how awesome California is – but with only four full days (and one of them being occupied by my baby shower) it was surely a challenge! But I think we done good :) San Diego seemed to be his favorite! We hit up the zoo and then showed him a bit of the town. (One of our favorite scenic spots is the view of downtown San Diego from Coronado Island, as seen below.) We had such a great few days with these adventurers! I’ve been lucky enough to see Abby three times in the past year, and I hope the frequency continues even after Linus arrives! She may be my cousin, but she’s more like a sister and a best friend :)
