san francisco & the great experiment | personal
The big experiment in San Francisco was: are tandem bikes really harder to ride up the hills of San Fran than a normal bike? The answer: yes. But I actually really enjoyed it (and I’m pretty sure I was the only one!) It gets a little tricky syncing your peddling with the other rider, and your butt REALLY stars to hurt because you can’t stand up (due to your pedal sync with the other rider), but even still, it was an experiment I’m glad we conducted!
We spent one of our days in the heart of San Fran, another day visiting some of the wineries in Napa, and our last day we spent in Sausalito and Tiburon. Below are a few pictures from each day. It’s so funny when Randy and I do the tourist thing. We always carry a camera, but never remember to shoot anything! It’s pretty ridiculous considering we’re professional photographers. But when I’m on vacation, or exploring a city, I find that I just simply enjoy walking and being brain dead! I suppose I enjoy experiencing the moment instead of trying to document everything. We’ll try to do better on our next journey :)
And there’s more to come! More pictures and video!
