the olden days & mixed media

Editing, editing, editing. That’s all I’ve been doing lately, but I’m still not quite ready to share our latest sessions with the blog world yet! So in the mean time, check out some of my old mixed media art! As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I enjoy drawing portraits of people… although I haven’t done so in a long time.  Well a year or more ago, I took some film portraits of some of my family members and friends. I printed them (by hand), and then lots and lots of dollars later wasted on photo paper, I ended up with a stack of so-so prints. So, instead of tossing them, I opted to cut them up and draw in some of the missing pieces. Below are a few examples (shot with my point and shoot).
